Synopsis
A man and a woman are frozen in time during an experiment in this drama. They get up 20 years after the fact rather than 24 hours after the fact and should keep their internal heat level beneath 33°C to get by.
Ma Dong Chan is referred to as a "hit maker" in the entertainment industry. Dong Chan is regarded as "a manly specimen of manhood, with perfect physical and handsome features who is coldly cool in work and hot in love." He is a very successful producer of variety programs when each project he attaches himself to turns into a ratings juggernaut. Go Mi Ran, a part-time employee at the broadcast station where PD Ma's productions are filmed, finds herself in a bind when debt collectors try to get her family to pay their debts.
Mi Ran eventually gets involved with PD Ma's new variety show, "24-Hour Frozen Human Project," which is about an experiment in which a man and a woman are chosen at random to be "frozen human specimens" and must return within 24 hours of entering the freezing chambers. Mi Ran accepts an offer of 5 million won (approximately) to pay off her family's debts. $4,200 USD) in exchange for a 24-hour freeze. They are frozen for 20 years rather than 24 hours as a result of a baffling conspiracy. When they thaw 20 years later, they face personal issues that existed before they entered the freezing chamber and must be resolved before they can resume their normal lives.
